Real Resorts hotel’s have received awards for the highest quality of service and excellent presentation of the food that is provided in each one of the hotel restaurants.

“International Star Diamond Award 2009“

The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences Recognizes Two Real Resorts with its Prestigious International Star Diamond Award THE ROYAL in Cancun & THE ROYAL Playa del Carmen. THE ROYAL in Cancun is the first Cancun property to receive the award, and also receiving the award is its sister property, THE ROYAL Playa del Carmen. The recognition is awarded by The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences to select five star hotels that exceed a selection of criteria for facilities, operations and service.

The AAHS is renowned worldwide for awarding excellence in the global travel and luxury services sector. Each year the American Academy bestows its coveted International Star Diamond Award exclusively on five star establishments that are deemed to be of pinnacle quality.

“Cristal Plaque”.

The Cristalisima Plaque is the highest international certification awarded by Cristal, part of the National Britannia Group. This International award is granted for excellent quality, hygiene and control of all food and services that surround all of the restaurants at the Real Resorts. The restaurants go through a constant process of audits and reviews. Supervision and advice are given daily to help improve and obtain a level of consistency with the service and food provided to all the hotel’s clients and employees.

The goal of this is to provide the guests and the hotel employees with the higher level of service, healthy standards and quality of food.

Cristal means the following: Critical Risk Identification, using Strategy, Technology, Analysis and Logistics.

Stars and Diamonds is a national and international program that has certified Gran Caribe Real as a 5 Star hotel. It has also received the 4 Diamonds certification.

“Stars” qualify the hotel facilities and rooms. “Diamonds” qualify the amenities and the service that are offered and provided to all.
