October 2007: The professional culinary team at the Gran Porto Real Playa del Carmen, part of the all-inclusive Mexico based hospitality group Real Resorts, has been awarded the Golden Cristal Plaque in recognition of its achievement in obtaining excellent standards of hygiene, by implementing the policies of the International Cristal Program successfully, based on the principals of the HACCP system.
The Cristalisima Plaque is the highest international certification awarded by Cristal, part of the National Britannia Group, to hotels that have attained the highest standards possible with regards to the risk management of food handling and hygiene.
